AISU Implements the "Rebar and Wire Rod Rolling Technology" program in cooperation with Ezz Steel.

As part of the Arab Iron and Steel Union's objectives to support human development and enhance skills in the iron and steel sector, the Union in cooperation with Ezz Steel is implementing the third program in a series of joint training programs entitled "Rebar and Wire Rod Rolling Technology", held from 14 to 25 December 2025. The program witnessed participation from Emsteel, Qatar Steel, Bahrain Steel, Saudi Steel, the Libyan Iron and Steel Company, and El-Fouladh Tunisia. The curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with practical application covering: orientation and occupational safety; rolling technology fundamentals including rolling lines, components, and roll pass design; reheating furnaces; thermo-mechanical processes; operating lines and areas; finishing facilities; troubleshooting; quality and testing; and maintenance. These programs fall within AISU's strategy to strengthen technical and technological capabilities of professionals across Arab countries, through specialized programs conducted at Ezz Steel's facilities in Egypt.
